Artist Statement: The creative process of bringing a lump of clay from the earth to life, still fascinates and amazes me. Clay is my consuming passion and has been since I was very young. Most of my pieces are inspired by my thoughts and emotions, which are often too hard for me to put into to words, so my art tells the story for me. My work ranges from the whimsical to the bizarre. I am in aw of the beauty of God’s creation and once in a while I even try to capture a bit of that beauty in clay. Whatever I am sculpting - I am ever thankful to God for giving me this talent.
